Ann's portrait hung at Nayland, and is in the possession of Mary Burn of Little Bealings SFK, it is inscribed on the back "Ann Alston daughter of Sam Alston baptised Edwardstone b1727 - d1761 Stem Al Pg 79. reframed by Rolin Burn in Wimbledon 1971" sighted E L Fenn 2001. Portrait now at Christchurch Mansion Ipswich SFK. 2004.

Ann benefited by way of interest from her fathers estate of a sum of 150pds. bequeathed after her death to her children equally.

Anne married Jacob ALSTON [1561] [MRIN: 508], son of Jacob ALSTON of Wrens Polstead [948] and Mary [173], on 29 Nov 1748 in Edwardstone SFK. (Jacob ALSTON [1561] was baptised on 13 Dec 1724 in Boxford SFK, died on 28 Nov 1757 and was buried on 2 Dec 1757 in Edwardstone SFK.)
