Alston, 16 James i.
One third of all the holdings therein recounted descended to John Alston, the deceased, who died 10 May last, a minor, ward to the King, at Boxford.
Joseph Alston, his brother and heir, was then aged 11 years and 13 weeks,
Another inquisition (Ser. ii. Vol. 428) on the death of the above John refers to tenements in Boxford, co. Suffolk, only; held of Edward Peyton, Kt. and Baronet, of his manor of Peyton Hall.
