  General Notes:

Elizabeth was baptised by her future father-in-law Samuel Marsden.

Elizabeth and her sister Mary were educated by a Miss Sims then later a Joseph Kenyon.

After her marriage Elizabeth moved to her father-in-law's property at Mamre, all went well for a number of years but her husband was dissolute with his money falling into bankruptcy in 1842. However in 1845 Elizabeth's mother who had been living with them purchased back part of the property for their occupation, Shrivenham, putting it in trust to her daughter, beyond the reach of her son-in-law.

Elizabeth was to live in straitened circumstances for the rest of her life.

Elizabeth suffered from deafness.

Elizabeth married Charles Simeon MARSDEN [16792] [MRIN: 6017], son of Rev Samuel MARSDEN [16859] and Elizabeth FRISTAN [16860], on 18 Jun 1828 in Windsor N.S.W. by the Rev Samuel Marsden. (Charles Simeon MARSDEN [16792] was born on 26 Jun 1803 in Parramatta NSW, died on 27 Sep 1868 in "Shrivenham" Sth Creek NSW and was buried in Marsden Vault Paramatta NSW.)
