The Solemnisation of Matrimony by permission of his Excellency Philip Gidley King Esq. Captain General and Governor in Chief of his Majesty's Territory of New South Wales, between John Brabyn and Sarah Denison, both of this parish, and married this 14th day of October 1802 by me Samuel Marsden.
Signed John Brabyn, Sarah Denison.

Sarah received a small grant of land for 14 years in Parramatta on 16 July 1804, where the family grew fruit and vegetables. It was fenced, as required by law, but continually being raided by the inhabitants. It was in size 1 rood 32 poles (approx 1800m2) at a Quit Rent of 10/-

Sarah had a difficult time while he husband was recalled to England 1810/11 and when he returned to England in 1816 she was for nearly two years quartered in the Parramatta Barracks with her two younger daughters.

However on 1st Mar 1816 the month John left she was granted 500 acres at Mulgoa NSW, this she held until she sold it in 1821 to Sir John Jamison, the funds from the sale were applied to developing their land at Windsor

On the death of her husband Sarah left Windsor never to return spending the rest of her life at Mamre with the Marsden family. Sarah was aged 79 at her death.

Sarah next married Capt John BRABYN [14458] [MRIN: 5135], son of John BRABYN [17534] and Joanna JAGO [17535], on 14 Oct 1802 in Sydney NSW Australia. (Capt John BRABYN [14458] was born on 6 Aug 1758 in Pelynt CON, died on 1 Aug 1835 in York Lodge Windsor NSW and was buried in St Matthew Windsor NSW.)
