Julius Jottings, No 6 Jan, 1902.
Members of the mother country branch of the family have last year had the pleasure of becoming more closely acquainted with another of our Australian cousins. It is, we believe, the first visit of Miss Nellie Julius to England, whose sister visited us earlier in the year; and that we were delighted to see Mrs Arthur Julius again after so many years absence.

Julius Jottings, No 6 Jan, 1902.
Miss Nellie Julius is now a nurse in a hospital for children in Chester.

Dear old Arch
I am so glad that you have got through your exam alright this time, I think they are terrible things and am so glad when they are over. I met Madge in town this morning and she told me Mother had a letter from you. The girls have been printing off some of the photographs they took off little Alice, she is a dear sweet baby and I should so like to see her. I am going to New Zealand for a trip at the end of this year for Ethel's wedding, and most likely you will see me popping up to see you then. This is not much of a case I am at it now, they are all very frugal eaters and I am often pretty hungry, however I shall not be here very long. Isn't it a shame that they lost such a lot of jewellery at home I see by the paper that the police have got the man and a lot of property, but none of mothers things have turned up yet.
I went to Sandy ate (sic) for the day last week By (sic) is a real old married man now there is no doubt they have a dear little Biddis (sic) & they are proud of her too. By this seems to be doing very well with his business. Neil is still jogging along at the hospital but I think it is a great worry, she is not looking at all well & getting quite thin on it. Madge & Cere? had a lovely holiday and look all the better for it, Con is working in the Lands Office for six weeks I think.
Well old boy I must stop and get to work, love to you & Clara & big kiss for the little girl, I am so glad you are through the old exam.
Ever your loving sister.
Nell
