Edward Henry Torlesse Liveing [445] writes in a letter to Dr E W Ainley-Walker dated 4 Oct 1935, regarding a ring in the Liveing Archive:
. . . . . "you were asking about Sarah Skrine (sister of Richard) who married 1st Zachary Brandon and 2nd Hon: Walter Molesworth - Curiously enough I have amongst a large number of memorial rings one which does not appear to be a death ring1. It has a cross of 5 diamonds and one ruby in centre inside it is engraved Sir George Molesworth with no date and outside in blue enamel is
ABSENTIS PIGNUS AMICITAE2
he was the 2nd son of Sarah Skrine who married W Molesworth"

1. 2023 - The ring is no longer in the Archive.
