His will was proved 31 July 1784 leaving L150 to his sister Elizabeth, wife of John hand, and L150 to his sister Sarah wife of Lucas, L52 his niece Penelope Lucas (Sarah's daughter) and 52 his niece Sarah . . . . . Plus various other legacies, no wife is mentioned.
