Alexander was an attorney.
His will of 17 Feb 1738 describes him as a gentleman. He left the moiety of his lands at Rudsworth and Dedworth in Stanwell, Middlesex, that were Richard Winch's, to his wife (from whom he had received them on his marriage) and that she continue to pay his annuity. To his son Thomas he left everything in his study including his books to enable him to contine as an attorney. Everything else he left to his wife Sarah. His will was witnessed by Robert Whitfield, an apothecary of New Windsor

Alexander married Sarah WINCH [23819] [MRIN: 8549], daughter of Richard WINCH [23828] and Elizabeth YEILDALL [23829], about 1711. (Sarah WINCH [23819] was born in 1690 in Bray BKS and died in 1779 in New Windsor Berkshire.)
