bullet General Notes:

Edward was educated at Bury St Edmunds and rugby before matriculating in 1838 from Emanuel College Cambridge BA 1842, he was ordained priest in 1844. After serving in several parishes he was appointed curate at Hathern LEI in 1848 where his father-in-law was Rector, he took over as Rector of Hathern upon the death of his father-in-law in 1859.
