Anne's address given at the time of her marriage was Torr Ferrat, Cupar, Fife at possibly a family home there. They were married by bands read at Old Machar by Rev Bishop Skinner of St Andrews Chapel.

Her death certificate records her death at 10 Irvine Pl., Aberdeen, that she was the daughter of William Murdoch, cabinetmaker and Ann Oswald. The informant was her son Alexander
