My dear Edward I shall gratefully receive the Pedigree with coloured Arms, and am sure other recipients will feel the same. You ask for suggestions as to where to send other copies, I sent a list, many of whom you will probably have already thought of. Mrs St Paul Butler, nee Dorothy Torlesse. Ewart Park, Wooler, Northumberland. Miss Torlesse, Ferrau Cleary, Ventnor, Isle of Wight Mrs W A Smith, 16 Melbury Road, Kensington. Evelyn C Holland - Dorothy can give you his address in Sth Africa, I am not sure of it. Mrs C H Hamilton, Sumner, Christchurch, New Zealand. She has one son Richard Torlesse Hamilton through his father he is descended from Ann Elithorne, Sister of Mary Elithorne, see Bygone Days, page 23. Charles E Hamilton's first wife was Emily, youngest child of my brother Charles. Charles Hamilton is now in very poor health, stone deaf and I am sure the pedigrees would be of great interest to him, besides his having married to Torlesse's in succession. X I do not know if you have thought of sending to any of the Hollands, I am sure Percy would appreciate one, his address is: Col Holland, Manor House, Ryburgh, Fakenham, Norfolk. Arthur Holland's address is, Dunedin, Horsham I do not know if Mary Bridges would be interested, she ought to be, but she is somewhat feeble since her severe illness, however I don't think she would like to be left out her address is: Mrs Bridges, 13 Dane Road, St Leonards on Sea. If I think of anyone else I will let you know, Edward Morley, who did so much to collect family information etc, many years ago, is I fear to ill to appreciate your work, he worked out the Robinson connection to a large extent. His address is: Settey Cottage, Brocklehurst, Hertfordshire. His mind is quite clear. As you do not mention her illness I hope that Emily is convalescent, please give her my love Yours affectionately Frances H Torlesse How glad you must be to have finished the Pedigree.
Richard married Kitty Allport SINCLAIR [33176] [MRIN: 11857] on 9 Oct 1933 in All Saints Sumner Canterbury NZ. (Kitty Allport SINCLAIR [33176] was born in 1910 and died in 2001.)
