Catherine was involved with long running litigation amongst her siblings concerning distribution of her fathers estate. She made a long statement in 33 parts about her brother Edward with whom she had lived, as part of the litigation over their fathers will, Her testimony mainly concerned descriptions of her brothers insanity, see Edward Alston [3079]

Unfortunately the original transcription of the Sentence by the Court imposed on the value of the evidence dated 22 Oct 1716, is in Latin and has not yet been transcribed - 2022.
