The Visitations of Bedfordshire in 1566, 1582 and 1636 say;-
(Elizabeth) dau'r of (John) Coleman. P.fesse ar. and sa., a crosse patounce bet. 4 mollets all counterchanged.

Harl. MSS. 1390 Brit. Mus. Arms of Eliz. wife of Edwd. Alston dau. of John Coleman p, fesse arg and sa a cross flory between 4 mullets counter changed.

There are two burials in Newton for an Elizabeth Alston 30 Sep 1590 and 26 Jun 1591.

Burchetts was an Alston tenement in Newton, which has survived into the 21st century.

Elizabeth married Edward ALSTON Lord of Sayham [2795] [MRIN: 917], son of William ALSTON of Newton SFK [2819] and Ann (Elizabeth) SYMONDS [2820]. (Edward ALSTON Lord of Sayham [2795] was born in 1507 in Newton SFK and was buried on 14 Nov 1592 in Newton Nr Sudbury SFK.)
