Research Notes:
The researcher has taken the view that Robert Collet Edwin Hampton who married Margaret Neill 12 Apr 1869 at Rockhampton is the same person as Edwin Collet Hampton who married Margaret, who is mentioned separately in many family tree's.
Mattie Edith Hamptons birth certificate shows 21 Apr 1869 as the marriage date but Bob Thompson has proved in 2015, from the Marriage Register of St Josephs Rockhampton it is the 12th, he wryly notes Robert a publican at the time of Matties birth may have been sampling his own stock!
