Parish Records FELSTED, Holy Cross INCUMBENT Property and Income of Benefice "Survey and Valuation of the Vicarage of Felsted in the County of Essex. Done in 1802 for the Revd. Jeremiah Awdry Vicar by Richardson, Son and Corfield of London". Includes valuation of vicarage and glebe lands giving names of fields, cultivation, acreage, value per acre and annual value. Plan of glebe land, with key, on pages 144-145, dated 1810. Valuation of tithes, arranged alphabetically by occupier, and giving names of owners, field names, cultivation, acreages, value per acre and annual value. "General Summary" of valuation of tithes. Acreages of great tithes belonging to the Vicarage of Felsted giving names of occupiers and acreages, with cross references to the pages on which the lands are described. The Felsted vicarage, valued in K.B. at £18.6s.8d., and in 1831 at £402, is in the patronage of the Earl of Mornington, and incumbency of the Rev. Jeremiah Awdry, M.A., who has 27A.3R.11P. of glebe, and a parsonage house, but does not reside here. The tithes were commuted in 1843.

Awdry the Rev Jeremiah. 29 Mar 1859 The Will with 2 codicils of the Rev Jeremiah Audrey late of the parish of Bathwick within the borough of Bath in the County of Somerset clerk deceased who died 4 February 1859 at Bath which aforesaid was proved at the Principal Registry by the oaths of West Awdry and Frederick Awdry both of Chippenham in the County of Wiltshire gentlemen two of the Executors.
