Marriage Licence Allegations Vicar General's James VANDERZEE, Bachelor 29° Sep. 1709 Which day appeared personally James Vanderzee of Lambeth aged twenty one years and upwards and a Batcr and alleged that he intendeth to marry with Hester Fidgett of the same parish aged twenty one years and a Spinster. The parish of Lambeth here makes a link with Cornelius the pot maker in Lambeth in 1716. However, this James/Jacobus cannot be the son of Cornelius and Cornelia since our Jacobus swore he was single in 1733! I'm keen to look at the Lambeth register, if it's legible. Rosie Flower
