That Jacob Alston married Elizabeth "Wright" is unproven

THE WILL of ELIZABETH ALSTON
Dated 6th October 1779
The will of Elizabeth Alston of Newton, co. Suffolk widow.
I desire my executor and executrix to place out at interest on Land or Government Stock the sum of L200 in trust for the benefit of my cousin Mary wife of Charles Ottley, formerly Mary Harrison spinster she to receive the interest of said sum half yearly and at her death the principal to be equally divided amongst her then surviving child or children.
I give to my cousin Catharine wife of --------- Bennett of Brent Eleigh co. Suffolk gardener the sum of L100 to be paid within one year of my decease, should she die before that time, the said sum to be equally divided between the children of my cousin Thomas Wright late of Sudbury, Suffolk Innholder.
I give to Elizabeth Dansie of Polstead, co. Suffolk widow and my, executrix, the interest of the sum of L200 the principal I give to Thomas Dansie only child of said Elizabeth Dansie, in the event of the death of said Thomas before the age of 21, the money to be equally divided between Sarah, Elizabeth, and William, three of the children of William Tiffen the elder of Newton farmer and my executor.
I give to Joseph and William Sparrow the two sons of Martha wife of Joseph Sparrow of Groton, co. Suffolk husbandman L30 each, the interest to be applied to their education
I give to Elizabeth wife of Thomas Pawsey formerly Elizabeth Shansfield, spinster, L60.
I give to Sarah, wife of John Gardiner, another daughter of Josiah Shansfield L40, both these legacies to go to the children of said Elizabeth and Sarah, should they die before receiving the same.
I give to Sarah Tiffen (or Tiffin) one of the daughters of said William Tiffen the elder L120.
To William Tiffen L50 child of William Tiffen the elder.
To Elizabeth Tiffen L50 child of William Tiffen the elder.
I also give to Thomas Wright of Sudbury, Innholder L10
I give my household goods and linen to Sarah Tiffen daughter of said William Tiffen the elder
I give my clothes and wearing linen to Elizabeth Dansie and Sarah Tiffen.
The residue of my goods, chattels, ready money, bills, bonds, mortgages and all my personal estate I give to the said Elizabeth Dansie and William Tiffen the elder my executrix and executor to be equally divided between them.

THE WILL of ELIZABETH ALSTON
Dated 6th October 1779
The will of Elizabeth Alston of Newton, co. Suffolk widow.

(Jacob ALSTON of Wrens Polstead [948] was baptised on 21 Jun 1696 in Edwardstone SFK, died on 18 May 1760 and was buried on 23 May 1760 in Edwardstone SFK.)
