Ref: Bedfordshire Record Office (Joseph Tucker Burton Alexander estate deeds Pavenham Bury)

In the Will below the testator William names Vere Alston as his father, Lord his brother and Browne his father.
Cresswell was unwilling to include this man as Vere's son, as he is correctly his stepson and second cousin once removed. Browne is his father-in-law and Lord his brother-in-law.

William has been placed son of William and Elizabeth meanwhile on the evidence of his sisters Frances & Mary? and the above baptism entry.
