This is the last Will and Testament of me Andrew Farquharson Laurenson of Quail Island builder.
I hereby give and bequeath unto my eldest brother George Lawrenson of Lyttleton storekeeper and by youngest brother Morgan Lawrenson of Christchurch warehouseman all my real and personal property and any monies which may become payable on my account to my heirs and assigns after my death to be by then held in trust and applied as follows.
After paying all my just debts together with my funeral expenses the balance shall be used by the said George Lawrenson and Morgan Lawrenson in paying a certain fixed some each month, or expended in whatever other way may seem to the said George Lawrenson and Morgan Lawrenson most desirably, in providing for the maintenance of my dear wife Edith Lawrenson and my dear children Mary, Wilhelmina, Morgan, John and Andrew.
