Humphrey was of Alpheton SFK and Little Staunton BDF.
He was educated Emanuel College Cambridge BA 1743 MA 1782; Curate of South Moreton 1754 to 1766; Vicar of Blewbury – cum – Upton BKS 1759 to 1781; instituted to the Rectory of Alpheton in the gift of his own family, 11 January 1781, his eldest brother William having died in 1780; Rector of Little Staunton 1782 to 1806.
Mentioned in his fathers will 1774. His will dated 20 February 1798 proved London 27 November 1806 by his wife Katharine.
