Their wedding date is sourced from ESS Mar Lic Colchester Library Ref E 929.3 u-y pg c12. Alternative date 1735.

Near the Font in Nayland Church is a Brass, reading "On the left side of this stone lieth the body of Mary Vanderzee the wife of the said Jacobus Vanderzee formerly Mary Guster Spinster who died on the day of January 1762 aged . . . . . years" Mary was aged 56 at her death.
Note: not visible 1999. The Nayland Conservation Soc.? has a tree with a death date of 22 Feb 1766.

This indenture made the twenty third day of April in the thirty first year of the reign of our sovereign Lord
George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain, France, and Ireland King Defender of the faith and in the year of our Lord 1758 between Mary Vanderzee of Nayland in the county of Suffolk widow (a devisee in fee named in the last will and testament of Jacobus Vanderzee late of Nayland aforesaid Gent deceased) of the one part and John Boor of Nayland aforesaid Husbandman of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration the sum of five shillings of lawful money of Great Britain to her the said Mary Vanderzee in hand paid by the said John Boor at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for diverse other good causes and considerations she the said Mary Vanderzee hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the said John Boor, his executors and administrators all that messuage or tenement situate and being in Nayland aforesaid with the yards and appurtenances thereto belonging as the same was formerly in the occupation of Daniel Payne late of George Strutt and now of George Warren, his undertenants or assigns and stands within a yard belonging thereto abutting upon a lane leading from behind the church of Nayland aforesaid into the Town Street against or opposite to the gateway belonging to the Crown Inn there towards the west and also all that toft of ground whereon a house formerly stood situate and being in Nayland aforesaid near or adjoining to the said messuage and yard belonging to the same towards the south and west against certain meadows now or late belonging to M. Todd of Colchester on the north and east together with one fennage common or Right of common and pasture in certain meadows called the Fenns in Nayland aforesaid thereto belonging and of right appertaining and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof and of every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold the said messuage or tenement, toft, fennage, hereditaments and all and singular other the premises hereinbefore mentioned and intended to be hereby bargained and sold with the appurtenances unto the said John Boor, his executors, administrators, and assigns from the day next before the day of the date hereof for and during and unto the full end and term of one whole year from then next ensuing and fully to be complete and ended yielding and paying therefore unto the said Mary Vanderzee, her heirs or assigns the rent of one peppercorn only on the feast day of Saint Michael the Archangel (if the same shall be lawfully demanded) to the intent and purpose that by virtue of these presents and by force of the statute made for transferring of uses into possession the said John Boor may be in the actual possession of the said bargained premises and may be thereby enabled to accept and take a grant and release of the reversion and inheritance thereof to him and his heirs to such uses, intents, and purposes as in by the said grant and release shall be declared, limited, or appointed. In witness whereof the saidparties have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

This indenture made the twenty fourth day of April in the thirty first year of the reign of our sovereign Lord
George the Second by the grace of God of Great Britain, France, and Ireland King Defender of the faith
and in the year of our Lord 1758 between Mary Vanderzee of Nayland in the county of Suffolk widow (a devisee in fee named in the last will and testament of Jacobus Vanderzee late of Nayland aforesaid Gent deceased) of the one part and John Boor of Nayland aforesaid Husbandman and Jane his wife of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of [£40] pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to the said Mary Vanderzee in hand paid by the said John Boor at and before the sealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for diverse other good causes and considerations she the said Mary Vanderzee hath granted, bargained, sold, released, and confirmed and by these presents both bargain, sell, release, and confirm unto the said John Boor in his actual possession and seizin now being by virtue of a bargain and sale thereof made by the said Mary Vanderzee for one whole year by indenture bearing date the day next before the day of the date of these presents and by force of the statute made for transferring uses into possession and to his heirs and assigns forever all that messuage or tenement situate and being in Nayland aforesaid with the yards and appurtenances thereto belonging as the same was formerly in the occupation of Daniel Payne late of George Strutt and now of George Warren his undertenants, or assigns and stands within a yard belonging thereto abutting upon a lane leading from behind the church of Nayland aforesaid into the Town Street against or opposite to the gateway belonging to the Crown Inn there towards the west and also all that toft of ground whereon a house formerly stood situate and being in Nayland aforesaid and near or adjoining to the said messuage and yard belonging to the same towards the south and west and against certain meadows now or late belonging to M. presents is the true and lawful owner and proprietor of the said hereby granted premises and hath in herself good Right full power and lawful and absolute authority to grant and release the said messuage or tenement fennage hereditaments and premises with their and every of their appurtenances in manner aforesaid and also that the said John Boor and Jane his wife and the survivor of them and the heirs and assigns of such survivior shall and may from time to time andat all times hereafter peaceably and quietly hold and enjoy the same premises with the appurtenances and receive and take the rents issues and profits thereof to his and their own use without the let, suit, trouble or disturbance of her the said Mary Vanderzee her heirs or assigns or any other person or persons claiming or to claim by from or under her or by from or under the said Jacobus Vanderzee deceased free and clear and freely and clearly acquitted, exonerated, and discharged of and from all former and other gifts grants, bargains, sales, mortgages, jointures, and all other encumbrances whatsoever had, made, committed, done or Suffered by the said Mary Vanderzee her heirs or assigns and or any other person or persons whomsoever claiming or to claim by from or under her or by, from or under the said Jacobus Vanderzee deceased the rents and services henceforth to grow due and payable to the lord or lords, lady or ladies of the fee or fees of whom the said premises are held for or in respect of the tenure thereof only excepted and lastly that she the said Mary Vanderzee her heirs and assigns and all and every other person and persons whomsoever claiming or to claim any right or title to the said hereby granted premises or any part thereof by from or under her shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter at the request, cost, and charge of the said John Boor and Jane his wife or the survivor of them or the heirs of such survivor [must] execute and suffer or cause and procure to be made, executed, and suffered all and every such further and other lawful and reasonable act and acts, conveyances and assurances in the law whatsoever for the further, better, and more perfect conveying and assuring the said hereby granted premises with the appurtenances unto and to the use of the said John Boor and Jane his wife and the survivor of them and the heirs of such survivor according to the true intent and meaning of these presents as by the said John Boor and Jane his wife or the survivor [of] them and the heirs of such survivor or his, her, or their counsel learned in the law shall be reasonably devised, advised or required. In witness whereof the said parties have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.

Mary married Jacobus VANDERZEE [120] [MRIN: 28], son of Cornelis Cornelisz VAN DER ZEE of Delft. [717] and Cornelia Jans CLOECK [123], about Oct 1733 in Alresford nr Colchester ESS. (Jacobus VANDERZEE [120] was born about 1688, baptised on 1 Aug 1688 in Austin Friars Dutch Church Dulwich London, died on 17 Aug 1746 and was buried on 23 Aug 1746 in inside Nayland Church SFK.)
