He was buried at sea S. Atlantic.
On a Roll of Honour at RAF's Central Church of St Clement Danes, London.
He was born on 14 June 1894 in Dunedin, son of Foster & Beatrice Victoria Robinson NEILL (née JONES)
Educated at Waikouaiti School.
He married Marjorie Eleanor HARPER in England and was the father of two children, the last one was born about a fortnight after his father died.

His death is registered in the Maritime Deaths Index in 1918 on the ship Osterley. Death cert. <Neill_death_cert0001.pdf>

His name is also remembered at The RAF Central Church, St Clement, Danes in London and on the Albury War Memorial <albury.htm>, South Canterbury, New Zealand and on the Fairlie War Memorial <fairlie_war_memorial.htm>. His name is listed on the Timaru Memorial War <images/WWIm-p.jpg> under O'Neill. That is an error that won't soon be fixed.
