George Alston. On the 3rd May, 1762, Administration of the goods chattels and credits of George Alston late a seaman belonging to H.M. Ship the Lively in the pay of H.M. Navy Bachelor deceased was granted to William Clarke the lawful attorney of Samuel Alston the natural and lawful father of the said deceased for the use and benefit of the said Samuel Alston now residing at Aldford, co. Chester, he having been first sworn duly to administer.
