The Alston baptisms were on the cusp of the church books becoming full and a new book being started in 1711. the births of the two sons named Moses were in both books. In 1712 baptisms were registered, then the page is torn out for the years 1713 and 1714. The fact that the surviving Moses and Amelia existed as mentioned in the will, leave the only conclusion that they were born in 1713 and 1714, baptisms were then registered 1715 upward.
