Edward BRUEN [26609]

  Research Notes:

In 1902 the Bruen and Allison families drew the holding the retained as Kunopia, of 3,000 acres, and Myalla which was 2,440 acres, beside it. In 1907 Edward was killed by a fall from his horse, but the famil y remained on Kunopia until 1919 when it was sold to the Matchett family from Northcote.

Edward married Hannah KENT [19163] [MRIN: 9585], daughter of William KENT [26607] and Alice MARSHALL [26608], in 1879 in Boronga. (Hannah KENT [19163] was born on 8 Jul 1845 in Campbell Town, N.S.W., baptised on 24 Aug 1845 in St Peter Campbelltown NSW and died in 1917.)
