Sir John was in the battle of Stoke 1487 against Lambert Simnel and was then knighted, but later joining the Yorkists he was beheaded for high treason 17 Hen. VII.

John married Lady Margaret HOWARD [15813] [MRIN: 5648], daughter of Sir John HOWARD Duke of Norfolk [15814] and Katherine MOLINES [15815].
