Fiona Berry writes 2021.
My reasoning for the placement of Elizabeth (Taulis) Torlesse as grandaughter of this Francis, daughter of John, is the descent of the copyhold tenancy which went from Adam Torlesse to his brother Francis (born 1588), from Francis to his son John (born 1619), and in 1680 from John to his son-in-law John Simpkin (born about 1650).
It's circumstantial, but the descent of the specific copyhold tenancy is a very big clue. Unfortunately the lack of St Nicholas registers for the time periods needed, is very frustrating. They don't exist before 1665 or between 1695 and the next register in the 18th century.

Mentioned in his brother Adam's will 24 Aug 1641
