Witnesses: Rowland Alston Kent, Thomas Waite, John Abbey, lives 3 miles from R.A. Kent, Edward Draper, Thomas Atterbury. Both Guilty. Norman - has been in custody 3 times, once for horse-stealing for which he was acquitted, convicted of felony at Bedford Spring Assizes, 1 Geo. IV [1820], 7 years transportation, Leach in custody for poaching - 'summary conviction'. Leach - 12 months' imprisonment.
