bullet  General Notes:

Angela was born in Londonderry N.Ireland, her childhood was spent following the drum & at various boarding schools. After a brief spell in the Royal Observer Corps (war work) she spent a year as an Assistant Matron in a school before training as a nurse at St. Thomas's Hospital in London, qualifying SRN. Soon after she married Ken and settled into a wonderful married life having 5 children and now 15 grandchildren, a privileged life on their farm in the beautiful Cotswalds with a lot of interests, many friends, and always time for charitable work, which she much enjoys. (2003)

2. Angela Mary Fenn: Letter to Edward & Jeanette Fenn Auckland, Dec 1998, Sudeley Lodge Winchcombe GLS.
Sudeley Lodge stop
My dear Edward and Jeanette,
I wrote your card before the fatal car accident \endash in fact the day it happened, and nothing has been the same since. I did so adore my sister, she leaves a gap which can never be filled, but haven't I been lucky to have her all these years. It is terrible for Mark, Anna and Julie, but they planned a beautiful service for her \endash similar to Wray's, but unmistakably for Alison and as you can imagine the church was packed to overflowing.
Nancy came of course, she is wonderful and is looking forward to visiting you next year. The sad thing is that Alison was planning to visit you and Kaye and also Australia, and she would have so loved it.
Our daughter Bridget came over from Canada to be with us and our Australian family flew in from Frankfurt to stay with us over the funeral as they were spending a week or 2 in Europe before coming to us for Christmas, so it was wonderful suddenly having our 5 altogether, but Alison was a very special aunt.
I have just returned from taking Bridget to catch a coach to Heathrow and found a beautiful bouquet of flowers sent by you both. How wonderful of you to think of us in such a very delightful way, bless you, we are going to enjoy them to the full.
With very much love from Ken
Angela
