Cresswell find's Elizabeth's will somewhat irregular as follows.

Alston v Alston - see notes Sir Joseph Alston [3235] describes Elizabeth as reaching the age of 18 before dying intestate in 1697

WILL of ELIZABETH ALSTON.
Elizabeth Alston Spinster of Loughton in the County of Bucks made her will by word of mouth to the following effect
L200 received under the will of her Grandfather Sir Joseph Alston Bart. to her Sisters Martha and Rebecca Maria Alston
The said will reduced into writing 26 August 1697 and attested by Mary Alston Clare Alston and Joanna Sharp 24 May 1698
The said Elizabeth was living at her fathers house in Loughton at the time of her last illness, where she had lived many years before her death.
Martha and Rebecca Maria were minors
Proved 1 June 1698
