On 24 May 1808 by licence, Thomas Collis of Tralee to Diana Denny, daughter of the late sir Barry Denny, and Lady Denny of Tralee Castle. Thomas Collis had by his wife, Diana Denny, a son John, who married as earlier mentioned, Millicent Blennerhassett, and left issue a son (married his cousin, Arabella Collis and has issue, now living with him in New Zealand) and two surviving daughters, Millicent, married Rev M Heffernan, and Diana.

Diana Denny m. Thomas Collis of Barrow House, Fenit, Co.Kerry

Thomas is thought to have studied medicine at Edinburgh 1788-1790.

  Research Notes:

On further research I think the Thomas Collis/ Diana Denny connection is sound. The 1818 deed at <https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSJ9-K9B7-H?i=142&cat=185720> has Edward as the brother of Thomas whose only son was John, the same name as Thomas and Diana's son. Barry Collins who was Edward and Thomas' first cousin was a witness, Barry's mother was Elizabeth Hilliard's younger sister Sarah who married Thomas Collins.
