Elizabeth was a widow at her marriage.

There is long standing confusion as to Elizabeth as Edwards second wife, the Newto Register supports a marriage of Edward to Elizabeth Bull 16 Dec 1590 a date supported by the licence for Christiana Bull.

There are two burials in Newton for an Elizabeth Alston 30 Sep 1590 and 26 Jun 1591.

Elizabeth married Edward ALSTON Lord of Sayham [2795] [MRIN: 919], son of William ALSTON of Newton SFK [2819] and Ann (Elizabeth) SYMONDS [2820], on 16 Dec 1590 in Newton SFK. (Edward ALSTON Lord of Sayham [2795] was born in 1507 in Newton SFK and was buried on 14 Nov 1592 in Newton Nr Sudbury SFK.)
