Simon English writes 2017 George Stoughton dies before he inherits the family home. It took a while to find his record, the monument that celebrated his existence was demolished about 20 years ago when St Nicholas was 'modernised' but I found reference to it in a 19th century guide book of Warwick so that is why I rechecked the parish records.
