  General Notes:

James Stoughton Money (1813-1852), who ended his life as James Stoughton Money-Kyrle, was interested in genealogy, archaeology and antiquities, and was a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries. In his early years, until 1835, he worked for the East India Company. Ordained as deacon in 1841 and priest in 1842, he succeeded his father as rector of Yatesbury in 1843. He seems to have had constant financial problems and he died young.
