Howard BALDWIN [21562]
- Born: 1807, Barham SFK
- Marriage (1): Elizabeth BRISTO [21571] on 15 Jun 1844 in St Clement Ipswich SFK
- Died: 1868, Earl Stonham SFK aged 61
Research Notes:
Howard was brought up in the house of John Baldwin (1749-1812) and Sarah in Barham.( See Notitia Villaris for the Parish of Barham, Ipswich Record Office). His baptism has not been found yet (3.11.2011). It might be connected that there was a Howard Buxton married to a Mary Coping in Claydon in 1794. Howard Buxton was from Claydon. Howard Baldwin farmed at Green Farm,Forward Green, Earl Stonham and was a poulterer. On his marriage certificate he gave his father's name as Henry Baldwin, and his place of birth as Barham. Provisionally,he has been taken to be Mary Baldwin's illegitemate son. This was the opinion of Sally Whiffling at the Ipswich Record Office in 2012, though no documentary evidence of this has been found. Mary was the daughter of Sarah and John Baldwin. THAT MARY WAS THE MOTHER OF HOWARD, IS THE PROVISIONAL ASSUMTION THAT HOLDS THIS TREE TOGETHER AT THIS POINT.Another possible parent is the John Baldwin. son of John and Sarah, in whose house John jnr. was living at the same time as Howard.
