Elizabeth Louisa PRESTON [30883]
Louisa died tragically on Wed 12 July 1882 aged 7 1/2 when a farm labourer named Fred (Henry) Tester, employed for scub cutting went beserk, chasing the children with an axe and injuring Louisa. She died 6 days later in Echuca hospital. Tester was found guilty of murder and hung on 17 December 1882 at Deniliiquin. |
