I also wanted to mention that I found there is a great connection to King Kamehameha 1 because of Violet Kinole Kahaleulouhi Beckley. Her relatives lead back to a man named George Charles Beckley and he's something else. He was a pirate & stole ships in Mexico and sold them to King Kamehameha. He became a great friend with the king and made the 1st Hawaiian Flag in 1806 or 1807. He held many titles and I believe was adopted as a son. The historical stuff is fascinating but very difficult to assemble accurately. Most of it is in Wikipedia at UserKAVEBEAR-George C. Beckley - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . Violets name is on that page. They didn't really connect it such that is is in a real family tree form And there are so many reference connections to other research it was wearing me down. Anyway I thought this is very interesting.
