Ellen JOHNSON [11584]

  General Notes:

From the will of Thomas Hardy of Gosfleld in 1583 (Essex Wills vol 4 by F G Emmison) we learn that Ellen is Ellen Johnson daughter of Sebastian.

John and Ellen apparently owe Thomas Hardy for ten weeks schooling and board for their eldest son John.

Ellen married John SEWELL [11583] [MRIN: 3886], son of John SEWELL [11586] and Margery GUYBLON [11587], about 1568 in Essex. (John SEWELL [11583] was born in 1545, baptised in 1545 in Gt Henny ESS, died in 1588 in Gt Henny ESS and was buried in St Mary Gt Henny.)
