Leila Boustead wrote the Nineteenth Century Detective Novel called "The Blue Diamonds" published by F.V. White and Co 14 Bedford Street, Strand in 1898 with 119 pages. The story is "set largely in India and Ceylon, the story tells of the rival attempts of an Englishman (by impersonation and fraud) and an Indian (by stealth and force) to steal a packet of diamonds from a young Englishwoman" She died after a long illness.
