Only surviving son of William Nathaniel Fraser, Esq., of Tornaveen and of Findrack, Aberdeenshire, who d. 1899, by Philadelphia Lambe, who d. 1900, dau. of the late Hugh Veitch, Esq., J.P., D.L., of Stuartfield ; b. 1855 ; m. 1881 Flora Beatrice, dau. of the late Capt. John Henderson-Macdonald, 78th Highlanders, and has, with other issue, a .son, * Francis William Ion Victor, O.B.E., M.C., Capt. Seaforth Highlanders and R.A.F. ; educated at the R. Mil. Coll., Sandhurst ; b. 1887. Major Fraser, who was educated at Edinburgh Academy and at Edinburgh Univ., and was formerly Capt. and Hon. Major 3rd Batt. E. Yorkshire Regt., is a Magistrate for Aberdeenshire. - Tornaveen, and'. Rhinstock, Aberdeenshire ; Junior Constitutional Club, w. ; Sports' Club, s.w. ; R. Forth Yacht Club, Granton.
