The earlier parts of these pedigrees are foundered on two [?] three old . . . . . . the first made in 1789 - at time of death of Mr(s) Broughton the 2nd in 1883 when my grandmother CML (Catherine Mary Liveing) claimed and obtained the Baldwin property at Aston Clinton and . . . . . . the 3d a copy of Skrine pedigree given to my father by Henry Duncan Skrine in 1870 see his letter many dates . . . . obtained of Mens things [?] and old letters and I have drawn up these combined pedigrees with the hope that they will make the large collection of family relics and old letters more interesting and intelligible to those who come after me
