 General Notes:
Lord Richard was summoned to Parliament in the lifetime of his father 1384-1387, by writ directed to "Ricardo Talbot de Blackmere." He also sat as Baron Talbot of Goderich Castle. He was in the wars of Scotland and in 15 Richard II. succeeded to the lands of the family of Hastings Earls of Pembroke derived through his great grandmother Joane de Valence, sister and coheir of Aymer Earl of Pembroke and wife of John Comyn of Badenoch.
Richard married Ankaret le STRANGE [6734] [MRIN: 2250], daughter of John 4th Baron STRANGE of Blackmere [6735] and Lady Mary FITZ-ALAN [6736].
