George was educated at Sydney Church of England Grammar School (Shore), then worked in the motor trade. He then turned to work in airconditioning, joined British General Electric Co., Industrial Fans Dept and was trained in England.
Returning to Sydney he worked for Woods Fans Co. a subsidiary of B.G.E.C. rising to Manager; he then opened his own business Julius Fans, Sydney in 1982.
A keen yachtsman, in the 1960's he crewed on the first Australian team to win the Admirals Cup.
George married Living
George next married Beverly Jean REID [4963] [MRIN: 1716] on 19 Nov 1969 in Sydney Registry Office. (Beverly Jean REID [4963] was born on 19 Oct 1944 and died on 29 Jun 2004.)
