Elizabeth was a single woman at her marriage.

Elizabeth & John appear to have lost their issue in infancy

Elizabeth Alston was buried 16 Jan 1728/29 at Stoke this has been attributed to Elizabeth's daughter as there was no mention of "wife off" It is more likely an entry in the register without a christian name ". . . . . Alston bur 18 May 1731" was Elizabeth as John remarried a Francis Matchett less than four months later.

Elizabeth married John ALSTON Inn Holder [3130] [MRIN: 271], son of John ALSTON Jnr [4025] and Elizabeth COLLINS [7319], on 10 Apr 1712 in Polstead SFK. (John ALSTON Inn Holder [3130] was born about 1680, baptised on 23 Jul 1682 in Edwardstone SFK and was buried on 15 Jan 1761 in Nayland SFK.)
