2. Thomas Rowland Alston: Will, 20 Apr 1923, Streatham London SW.
This is the last will and Testament of me Thomas Rowland Alston of "Clairville" Conyers Road Streatham in the County of London whereby I revoke all former wills codicils and testamentary dispoad.tions heretofore made by me and appoint Henry John Piers Kelly of Ambleside 23 Tooting Bee Gardens Streatham in the said County of.London and Albert George Fettes of Madoric Banstead Road Sutton in the County of Surrey to be the EXECUTORS of this my will and I give to each of them who.shall prove this my will the sum of twenty five pounds free of duty I give my gold signet ring to my sister Edith Mary Alston and I also give the following legacies free of duty viz -
To my sister Dorothy Margaret Walmisley the wife of Shaftesbury Edgar Walmisley the sum of five hundred pounds
To my brother in law the said Shaftesbury Edgar Walmisley the sum of one hundred pounds.
To my godchildren Geoffrey Fricker the son of my cousin Adelaide Mary Fricker the sum of twenty five pounds.
To Dorothy Shirley Vincent the sum of twenty five pounds and to Bernard John Morris the sum of twenty five pounds
I give devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my real and personal estate unto my two sisters the said Edith Mary Alston and Eileen Mary Alston in equal shares and I declare that my.executors shall have power to postpone conversion of my estate and to retain any portion thereof in the state of investment existing at my decease for so long as they shall in their discretion think proper
IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twentieth day of April one thousand nine hundred and twenty three
