John Sharman of Pettaugh batchelor married Alice Fenn spinster of Coddenham by licence 2 Oct 1804 by Henry Foord Curate. Wit. Sam Sharman and Robert Fenn

John was shown on his marriage Lic Bond as a Miller of Pettaugh, he appears not to have been trusted in some way by his father-in-law, whose will paid particular attention to protecting his wife's legacy from his control.

A John Sharman was an occupant of Mrs Fenns house in Coddenham from 1818.

Mr Sharman was a farmer and miller.
