"This Vicar of Melksham, the 1st known ancestor of the Awdry family in Wiltshire, was twice married. By a first wife Hester, who died in 1607, he had a family of six children, 2 sons and four daughters. He afterwards married Joan, the widow of Hulbert...."

John married Hester [35849] [MRIN: 13001] circa 1593. (Hester [35849] died in 1607.)
