Temperance the wife of the Revd
Mr Arthur Bedford Vicar of
Sharnbrook who departed this life
the 27th day of July 1742
in the 26th year of her age.

The above date coflicts with a date of 26 Oct 1742 which Cresswell shows on Pg 17 Alstoniana and which is used in trees elsewhere. It is possible the transcription from the ledger stone may be wrong?

Temperance married Rev Arthur BEDFORD [3163] [MRIN: 1065] on 1 Jul 1737 in St Paul Bedford.
