1727 JA 31 "the Reverend Mr John Lord A.M. Rector of Dunstable in this County & Vicar of Kensworth in ye County of Hertford dyed at ye Parsonage house in this Parish on Fryday January 26 about quarter of an hour before eight in ye morning & was buryed near ye north wall in ye Vestry of this Parish Church on Wednesday January 31 in the Eighty first year of his Age. He was instituted into ye Vicarage of Kensworth January 27, 1680 & into ye Rectory of Dunstable Febuary 11, 1683"
