Marriage of the Rev S Angel-Smith.
On Tuesday morning Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, was well filled with a congregation, largely comprised of ladies, to witness the nuptials of the Rev Stuart Angel-Smith, MA, Chaplain of Christ Church, Oxford, and formerly curate of Brackley, and Miss Madeleini Anna Edersheim sixth daughter of the Rev Alfred Edersheim DD. The bride was attired in an elegant travelling dress of French grey, with bonnets and gloves to match; and her sister, Miss Ella Edersheim, was her maid.
The groomsman was the Rev Reginald Angel-Smith, brother of the bridegroom. In the bridal procession were the Rev Canon's Hartley and Ince, Rev CM Robarts, precentor of Christ Church, and several other clergyman. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Venerable Archdeacon Palmer assisted by the Rev Dr Angel-Smith, vicar of Aldborough, Yorkshire, father of the bridegroom, and the Rev Sydney Gillam, vicar of Keystone, brother-in-law of the bride.
